Activities

Vrsar is a small historic fisherman town on the west coast of Istria peninsula. Its rugged coastline with picturesque small islands provides great opportunities for swimming, snorkeling or other water activities. Vrsar â€‹â€‹surroundings are great for trips, either by walk, by bike or with a car. Nearby cities Rovinj or Porec are significant cultural heritages with many attractions and rich history.

From Vrsar's marina depart frequent ferries to nearby cities or to watch dolphins and explore the world underwater. You can even take a day trip to Venice from Porec!

Vrsar is surrounded by beaches and you will be able to pick you favorite one, either in shade of pine trees or sunbath on pebble and rocky beaches. There are also accessible freshwater swimming pools in nearby camps and hotels that you can access with sightseeing tourist train that operates until late night.

Climate on Istria is very welcoming, with up to 35'C in summer and water around 26'C with low winds and sea waves. Swimming is pleasant from mid May to mid October.

Gastronomy will be one of many highlights of your stay. Regularly organized Fisherman Fiestas with music are happening right in the marina. Many restaurants where you can enjoy from breakfast, coffee and sweets  to tasty dinners with vine and beer start less than 5 minutes of walk.
